· After 1-20, students may put their name on a waiting list. Students on this list may purchase a book for $55 on the second day books are handed out IF there are extras.
· Any student may purchase a book for $55 starting the third day that books are handed out.

Attention parents: The yearbook is in need of action shots from sports games and other school activities for this year’s book. If you attend games and/or events and would like to submit photographs please send them to Mrs. Hersey. (paper photos or high quality digital photos are great!)

The Senior Class Group Photograph will be taken (sun or clouds) on the first day of school for seniors at 8 AM. The rain date (or heavy fog) will be the next day at 8 AM.

Senior Slide Show Information: The yearbook needs photos of seniors and their friends in their younger days to put in the Senior Slide Show to be shown on Awards Night in June, and is available for purchase for $10 through this link. Please send these in to Mrs. Hersey by February 1. All photos will be returned.

Attention Seniors: The due date for all Senior Portraits and Writeups is Thursday of October by 2nd 2:00 PM in Room 309. Make certain that all photos, writeups and CDs have your name printed on them. Remember that you will need to submit a black and white OR color glossy portrait photo for the MBHS Yearbook. The layout requires a vertical pose and even lighting works the best. Stay away from bright sunlight which causes deep shadows, backlighting and distracting backgrounds. Photographs up to 5” X 7” will be accepted. No Polaroids, color copies or inkjet digital prints, or photos on CDs will be accepted. Seniors will also need to submit their write-up (no more than 300 characters including spaces) to be placed next to their photo. This must be submitted typed on paper, AND saved to a CD in Microsoft Office format.

Not to worry, Mrs. Hersey will take free senior photos before and after school on the following days:

Wednesday, October 1st

Senior Baby Ads: The deadline for Baby Ads is October 20th. They should be mailed to Yearbook, 129 Seamon Rd., Farmington, ME 04938. Baby ads are usually purchased by parents, guardians or grandparents of senior students only. Submit your favorite photo from your student’s baby or toddler years and add a personalized message to your student. This is our most popular ad. Order froms are available through this link and will also be mailed home in mid September. The cost for these is $25. Send or bring your ad to: MBHS Yearbook, 129 Seamon Rd. Farmington ME 04938. Because these photos are sent to Pennsylvania to our publisher, they might not be able to be returned.

Congratulations Ads: The deadline for congratulations ads is January 9th. These may be purchased for any student by parents, family, or teachers. Prices for these are: 1/8 page, $40; ¼ page, $ 70; and ½ page, $120. Order forms are available through this link or in Room 309. These are usually purchased by parents, family members or teachers, for any student(s). Honor your student’s achievements with a photo and your own message to them.

Friends Ads: The deadline for friends ads is January 9th. These may be purchased for groups of friends. The charge for these is $10 for the first two people and $2 per person after that. These may be purchased for any student in the school. They are usually purchased by parents and students, for ANY students in the high school. Remember your child with their special friends by having their group photo included in the yearbook. You may add a short message as well. The order form is available here or in room 309 at the high school.

Business ads: Any local business that would like to purchase advertising space may also contact Mrs. Hersey at school at 778-3561 ext 4759 or download (from this link) and send an order form by December 1st. Have this year’s graduates remember your business every time they look through their yearbook. What better way to advertise than when students and families are reminiscing!
